Fact-checking

Every guide is written against authoritative sources — primarily the official Buffalo Niagara International Airport website, NFTA Metro, and relevant U.S. and Canadian government travel resources. We paraphrase facts in our own words rather than copying source text, and we link to the original source so readers can verify anything time-sensitive themselves.

Source selection

We prioritize primary, official sources: the airport authority, transit agency, and government border agencies. We avoid relying on unverified third-party listings for facts like hours, prices, or amenities, and we do not publish a specific number — a rate, a wait time, a fare — unless it traces back to a source we can name.

What we don't do

• We don't publish invented prices, statistics, opening hours, or travel times.
• We don't write fake reviews, testimonials, or interviews.
• We don't claim a hotel offers a shuttle, breakfast, or parking unless it's confirmed on that hotel's own website.
• We don't use exaggerated claims like "guaranteed cheapest" or "zero wait."

Update frequency

Guides are reviewed periodically, and each page displays a "Last reviewed" date. Because parking rates, hotel amenities, transportation schedules, and border rules change independently of our review cycle, we always direct readers to the current official source for anything time-sensitive rather than presenting our own numbers as current.

Corrections

If a reader flags outdated or inaccurate information, we review it against current sources and correct the page. Report anything you find to [email protected].
